West Coast Helicopters is extremely proud and excited to win this very first TECHGreen award for our commitment to environmental leadership and involvement with sustainable best practices and energy conservation.

John Leech, Executive Director of the 9,500 member association, Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia, captured it both succinctly and powerfully at the gala award event November 6, when he said: “Tech Green awards recognize and celebrate the very best of the best!”

On hand to receive this inaugural prestigious award was Mr. Peter Barratt and Dr. Granger Avery, both principals in our ground breaking company and key promoters for sustainable practices. Along with Mr. Barratt and Dr. Avery in the above photo are (from left to right) Mr. Trevor Williams, Dean of Energy at BCIT, the Honourable John Yap, Minister of State for Climate Change and Mr. Doug Carter, President ASTTBC.

For more information on this award and the many environmental initiatives West Coast Helicopters is undertaking please check the environmental stewardship section under our company submenu or contact Peter Barratt,
